The rules say don’t fall for your best friend’s sister.

But the rules don’t know her like I do.

Peter is the best man I know after my brother. His idea of transitioning into our new lives is to spend a week driving there. Not exactly my idea of fun, but how can I resist a chance to torture my brother’s friend for an entire week uninterrupted? 

Besides, I can handle myself just fine in the wilderness with him if he tries something. Now, if I can just get that to happen, my childhood fantasies might come true. 

I wish he’d just look past the rules and see how good we are together. Honor is overrated.
